AMERICAN VICTORIES IN FRANCE At Deauville, on August 4, J. Rutgers Le Roy, in whose name the horses of the late W. K. Vauderbilt are now running, won the Prix de Honfleur, ,000, with Karine, eh. f. 2, by Sea Sick Early and Often, and the Prix de Vlllers, ,000, with Petsik, 2 by Sea Sick Petulance. Both horses were bred by Mr. Vnnderbilt. The horses of Mr. A. K. Macomber, Miss Glatignc and Pommeret, were placed fifth in both races. Mr. Vauderbilt also bred the winner of the Prix de Meautry run the same day. Glorious, by Maiutenou Gloria II., now owned by Cunt. J. D, Cvlin.
