POCATBLLO also raced in the best going throughout and finished gamely. ALLIVAN saved ground on all the turns, but was in the heavy going next to the inner rail. BONIFACE led under stout restraint for the first half and drew away when THE PORTER challenged, but swerved into heavy going in the last eighth and tired badly. SLIPPERY ELM raced gamely, but was always held safe by the first two.
