ARGENTINE RACING IS PROSPEROUS According to El Jockey Buenos Aires, Your Majesty, son of Persimmon, at present heads the list of winning sires in the Argentine, his stock having won thirty-seven races this year, worth 217,090 pesos. Jardy stands second with twenty-nine races, worth 191,000 pesos, and Diamond Jubilee third, twenty-five- races, worth 148,550 pesos; Craganour sixth, twenty-two -races, worth nearly 113,000 pesos. Polar Star seventh and St. Wolf eighth have secured nearly 90,000 pesos apiece. D. Torterolo heads the list of winning jockeys with fifty successful rides. The big race of next November, the Gran Premio Carlos Pellegrini of 50,000 pesos, 1 7-S miles, has received 134 entries.
