LAUREL PARK OPENS TODAY BALTIMORE. Md.. September 30. The racing scene in Maryland will shift tomorrow from Havre de Grace to Laurel Park, where the autumn meeting of the Maryland State Fair will be inaugurated. While no stake feature graces the opening day card, the program is a diversified one, calculated to furnish an afternoon of good sport. The Chancellors Point Purse, at one mile, is the most pretentious offering, with a small but select field, comprised of Milkmaid, Crank, Blazes, Routlcdge. Camouf leur and Tantalus to eoutest it.
