Won easily; second and third driving. MULCIBER took the lead quickly and, making the pace fast, drew away in the stretch and won easing up. . CARE FREE followed the leader closely to tiie last eighth, where he tired slightly. SEDGE-FIELD, shutiled back on the turn out of the backstreteh, saved much ground next to the inner rail fir the remainder of the race and easily outstayed the others. Won driving; second and third the same. QUEEN BLONDE gained steadily under vigorous riding arid outstayed JOE JOE in the final drive. The latter rushed through next to the inner rail on the last turn and took the lead, but swerved out in the last eighth, which cost him the race. WAR MAR took a long lead in the first half mile and quit in the last quarter. GREAT GULL lacked speed. TIGER ROSE and TURF quit badly. ALBERT A., under slight restraint for the first half mile, was rushed through next to the inner rail on the last turn into a good lead, but was ridden out at the finish.. NATURAL BRIDGE improved his position on the outside and finished going fastest of all, but too late. SUNNYLAND, hard ridden for the entire race, was much used in racing SEA SINNER into defeat and tired. SEA SINNER showed the most early speed, but tired in the last sixteenth. VICE-CHAIRMAN took the lead at once and swerved to the inner rail, compelling his opponents on the inside to pull up sharply, then drew away on the backstreteh and held on resolutely to the end. SEA MINT moved up menacingly while rounding the last turn, but tired in the stretch drive. NEDDAM, shutiled back at the start, was in tight quarters on the backstreteh, but closed up gamely when clear and outstayed ST. ALLAN in the final strides. The latter was a forward contender in the early running, but tired in the last sixteenth. PONTYPRIDD suffered from interference at the start and was never prominent. KASHMIR raced in closest pursuit throngnotit and, finishing gamely, outstayed RALCO. The latter set the early paee under pressure and tired in the final strides. PASTORAL SWAIN ran .Well for three-quarters and was eased up at the end. The winner, entered for ,000, was bid up to .1920.sh,905 and bought in. Scratched 504!73War Note, 104.
