CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF John Walters will ship the G. M. Hendrie stable from Toronto to Latonia to engage iu racing at that point. Jockey II. Lafferty was suspended for tlie remainder of the Chagrin Falls meeting because of a poor ride on Semper Stalwart Thursday. Jockey E. Martin rode his first winner since his reinstatement, when he brought Bradleys Choice home first in the seventh race at Latonia Friday. T. J. Henley has turned his apprentice rider, F. Burley. over to E. D. Springer, who will make his mounts for the remainder of the fall and winter season. Tlie Seagram Stable has gone into winter quarters in charge of trainer Bringloe. There are said to be f.ome promising yearlings stabled at the farm at Waterloo. Arrangements have been practically completed for .the running of two special trains from Toronto to Kenilwcrtli Park Windsor the day of tlie race between Sir Barton and Man o War. It was Ballot day at Jamaica Friday. Three sons of that noted sire won races in succession, Albert A.. Vice-Chairman and Recount scoring for their daddy in the third, fourth and fifth races, respectively. George Walker has shipped the Brookdale Stable to Kenilworth. from where they will go to the farm at Barrie. The yearling crop at the farm gives good promise of developing into good racing material for next year. Harry Giddings has decided to retire Jiis horses to winter quarters at Oakville, Out., following the close of tlie Woodbine meeting. Most of the horses in the string have been ou the ailing list for some time aad this fact prompted ttieir early retirement.
