SMALL FIELDS AT JAMAICA1 Vibrate First in the Lynbrook Selling Stakes Natural Bridge Defeats Albert A. JAMAICA, N. Y., October 4. The Lynbrook Selling Stakes, for two-year-olds, at five and a half furlongs, at Jamaica this afternoon had only three starters, with R. T. Wilsons Dry Moon ruling a strong favorite, and was the feature race. The winner, however, turned up in Vibrate, the second choice. Vibrate followed Sea Cove closely in the I early running and, taking the lead, came on to win by two lengths. Dry Moon began slowly and moved up rapidly in the stretch, but was not good enough to overhaul the winner. The third was another thr.ee-horse affair for tlie better class of platers, at one mile and a quarter. The talent had it right when Natural Bridge was made tlie choice over Albert A. after that horse had decisively won from Natural Bridge in his previous nice. Albert A. showed the way to the stretch, where Natural Bridge challenged and won going away by two lengths. Albert A. was ten lengths in advance of War Plume. Only three platers started in the second race at one mile and seventy yards. Dorcas was a ll-to-2 shot and she ran like one. following Marie Antoinette until in the stretch, then came away to win by five lengths. Marie Antoinette was a like distance in front of Alma B. Flambette, a good looking filly, earned brackets in tlie opening dash for maiden two-year-olds. Turnabout was second, three lengths back and Dewey Eve, the favorite, third. Flambette followed Winds of Chance to the stretch bend, where she took the lead and won easily. Turnabout njade a game effort in the stretch drive, but was held safe. Dewey Eve began slowly, but closed a .gap. Atala, one of the well backed ones, ran well. J. Coburn, on account of illness, has disposed of all his stable but four and will go to his home in California to recuperate. He traded Bon Trom to C. Buxton for Le Glorieux. He also bought Hope Princess from H. C. Epperly. In addition lie will retain Celtic Lass and Poultney. G. Co-bum, his brother, will train the stable. Stall reservations has been made at Jamaica for James Arthurs stable, which is due Wednesday tpsui Caiiada. . ... - . Jockey Richcreek will arrive at Jamaica today from Canada to accept mounts.
