LATONIA9 S BANNER FALL MEETING IMMENSE SUM OF f373J67 DISTRIBUTED DURING TWENTY - EIGHT DAYS OF RA ClNG E. R. BRADLEY LARGEST WINNER Marked by the second running of the Latouia "Championship Stakes, the Latonia Cup and other valuable fixtures,, the Latonia fail meeting came to an end Saturday, October 30, after twenty-eight days of grand racing. There were "190 races run and the immense sum of 73,167 distributed in stakes and purses, the daily average distribution amounting to 3,327. Aside from the unexpected victory of Cleo.-patra and the failure of the Whitney entry, John P. Grier and Damask, in the Latonia Championship Stakes, the remarkable success of the E. it. Bradley stable was the outstanding incident of what was probably the most successful fall meeting ever held at fair Latonia. Great crowds. of enthusiastic racing devotees were in attendance dally and on stake days the accommodations were entirely inadequate for the immense gatherings anxious to witness the sport. E. R. Bradleys hordes rwon niue races and 4,345, giving the master of Idje Hour Stud the honor of heading the money -winning owners, of which the following Avon 00 or. more each: - . Owner. is,t. 2d. 3d.
