PIF JR. TO REST DURING THE WINTER LEXINGTON, Ky., November 24. Pif Jr. will not race this winter. He is to stay in Kentucky and is to be brought to Lexington tonight from Louisville. When Will Perkins loaded him into the car with the others of Col. R. L. Bakers string at Louisville last Friday to go to New Orleans he had a nervous chill and ran up a temperature of 104. He was taken out of the. "car and when Dr. Richards called Sunday he was over it, but Col. Buker decided to keep him at home. He will be in charge of Jack Baker at the Kentucky Jockey Club track.
