SIX SARATOGA STAKES TO CLOSE NOV. 27 Six great Saratoga stakes for two-year-olds, to be run next year, close for entries at midnight of Saturday, being the .0,000 United States Hotel Stakes, 0,000 Grand Union Hotel Stakes, 0,000 Hopeful Stakes, ,000 Spinaway Stakes, for fillies, and the ,000 Grab Bag Handicap. These are all familiar to owners as a part of the regular Saratoga annual provision of stake races, in addition there, is the newly founded Consolation Stakes of ,500, which will be run in two races, one at five and a half furlongs and one at three-quarters of a mile. All six are on the guaranteed value system and among the highly important races of each recurring year. Besides the foregoing two leading races for three-year-olds of 1922 will close for entries at the same time. They are the 2,500 Travcrs Stakes for colts and fillies and the 0,000 Alabama Stakes-fcr fillies. Botli. are at a mile and a quarter-and .races of long establishment and great historical fume.
