Won driving; second and third the same. COPROSE, close up from the start, came resolutely on tiic inside through the last eighth and got up to win in the last stride. MOLLIE BARNES raced into the lead In the stretch, but tired slightly in the final drive. LOUGH MAIDEN had a rough race and finished with a great rush. JACQUES ran well. TINGLING began slowly and was far back in the early running, but was lucky in finding his way, through in the last seventy yards arid, in a fast finish, won narrowly under a good ride. GILT FRINGE run a good race, but .tired, slightly right at the end. SILENCE closed a gap and stood "a stretch drive well to outstay"-ROSS-!. The latter showed 11 good turn of speed in pacemakiiigU btit; v,i!i tiring at the end. NEBULOUS quit badly after racing into the lead. DANTijIG .was away badly and closing up at the end. FLUFF was a contender to the stretch turn, where she ran out. BALLET DANCER II: was rushed through on the inside on the backstretch into the lead and saved ground on the stretch turn, but swerved ahrt was doing her best at the end to save second place. WOOD VIOLET was raced wide on all the turns and was coming again at the end. ESCARPOLETTE finished well. LADY GERTRUDE quit and is unreliable. Overweights Lady Gertrude. 4 pounds.
