CHIEF WINNERS SINGE 1902 i j Leaders of Different Ages During Past Nineteen Years. Man o War, Exterminator and Tryster Head the List for the "Year 1920. Though there is still some three weeks of racing before the end of the year, it is already settled which horses are the leading money winners of different ages for 1920. Samuel D. Riddles incomparable champion, Man o War, is impregnably the chief winner of the year of the three-year-olds and the greatest, in the history df the American turf. That hardy and gallant gelding Exterminator leads the four-year-olds and over division by a good margin, while II". P. Whitneys unbeaten Tryster reigns supreme among the two-year-olds. In the course of the nineteen years the money winning leaders have been made up of nine three-year-olds, Major Daingerfield, Africander, Delhi, Sysonby, Accountant, Joe Madden, Roamer, Sir Barton and Man o War; eight two-year-olds, Colin, Sir Martin, Novelty, Worth, Old Rosebud, Cnnipfire, Sun Briar and Eternal, while the only older horses to earn similar credit were Star Charter as a four-year-old in 1912, and the inter-i national veteran Rorrow in 1915, quite illustrative of the monopoly of chances to win the big money of the turf, given, over to the younger generation under our present method of conducting racing.
