NEXT CUBAN STAKE EVENT Three-Year-Old Mile Championship Stakes to Be Run December 19. w HAVANA, Cuba, December 12. Racing secretary Martin Nathanson yesterday announced the nominations to the Cuba Three-Year-Old Mile Championship Stakes, the third of the winter seasons big racing fixtures, and which will ha- its inaugural running Sunday, December 19. The stake, as its title implies, is for three-year-olds exclusively, and .it closed November 15 with twenty-two nominations. These; include all the best colts and fillies of their age in training at Oriental Park. The Cuba-American Jockey and Auto Club has added ,000 to this stake, which, together with the entrance and starting fees will make the gross value close to ,000.
