WEEDING OUT BIG CLOPTON STABLE Although the S. A. Clopton stable is comprised of fifty horses or more its owner is thinning it out of the older and cheaper grade of horses as fast as lie can, us he has a large number of coming two-year olds for the Fair Grounds racing. The Clopton horses are doing well at Jefferson Purk and It will be Just us successful at the Fair Grounds, judging from the appearances of its yearlings. Most of these youngsters were sent south early in the autumn and ure the most acclimated of any at New Orleans. ,
