I WAITING FOR FAIR GROUNDS MEETING The C. W. Clark stable is another that is being rested at the Fair Grounds. Trainer George V. Barnes lias these horses in excellent condition, judging from their morning work, and" they should give a good account of themselves when called upon. It is the plan of owner Clark to spend- quite a bit of time at New Orleans this winter after the first of the year. He seems to bring good luck to his horse, as they invariably win when he is on hand to see them run.
