OWNER JIM ARTHURS GOOD YEAR PLEASING TOTAL OF STABLE EARNINGS PILED UP FOR HIM BY BONDAGE AND HIS RACING MATES For many and many a year James Arthur has raced horses east and west with a fairly good measure of success annually. The present year furnished no exception. Last year his stable returns amounted to 9,179, to which his 7,129 of this year to date furnishes a highly agreeable comparison. His good racer Bondage was the principal contributor to this improvement in receipts, and the French colt Gain de Cause proved himself well worth owning by turning ill a total Of over ,000. The speedy Charlie Leydecker was unlucky in finishing second in ten races, of which he should have won several, but more than paid his way acceptably.
