LATEST NEWS FROM BREEDING FARMS LEXINGTON, Ky., December 14. The marcs purchased by Messrs. John A. Payne and R. H. West, Jr., from Commander J. K. L. Ross, and now at Beaumont Farm here, are: Brynwood, bay, 1910, by Bryn Mawr Mary Greenwood, by Falsetto; Elwah, chestnut, 1909, by Chuctanunda White Frost, by Iroquois; Gif fords, bay, 1905. by Chuctanunda Retaliation, by Juvenal; Jacquelina, brown, 1907, by Jack Point Eyelet, by St. Andrew; La Dolores, chestnut, 1911, by Boanerges Latour, by Hunting Tower; Lady Lightning, chestnut, 1909, by Dick Welles Flash of Lightning, by Ben Brush or Prince of Monaco; Linger, chestnut, 1908, by Dublin Gargle, by Hurst Park; May L., 1911, by Cunard Undecided, by Deceiver; Ocean "Wave, bay, 1913, by Migraine Ocean Tide, by St. George; Polly J., bay, 1914, by Waterboy Sister Jeanie, by Midlothian; Smirk, chestnut, 1908, by Olympian Simper, by Semprouius; Virginia S., black, 1911, by Dick Welles Fulvia, by Kingston. Along with these mares came two the property of H. G. Bed-well, they being Right Easy, black, 190G, by Lack-ford Editii Mc, by Falsetto; Orotund, chestnut, 1911, by Hipodrome Olevia, by Oruus. With these mares came the stallions Hillhampton and ; Damrosch, and they all arrived in good condition. Dr. Frank Keller of Baltimore, who brought them ; down, will leave tomorrow afternoon with Maltha and her foal, a colt by Jim Gaffney, Commander ; Ross having purchased them earlier in the year . from Charles W. Moore, owner of Mere Hill Stud.
