PLAN FETE FOR MAN 0 WAR Kentuckians to Give Champion Royal Welcome on Return to His Native Land. LEXINGTON, Ky., December 14.rLexingtonl ci.t-.izeiis-Ziroplauning, to. welcome liomWUul!-,Q War,, greatest of all race horses, with all the pomp and "ceremony that would he accorded the return of any conquering son. The Board of Commerce last night announced that full details of the homecoming would be discussed at its meeting Wednesday. Man o War will arrive in Lexington early in January. Miss Elizabeth Daingerfield, who will have the horse in charge, is now in New York making arrangements for his journey to Hinata Farm, where he will be quartered. Sam Riddle, owner of the horse, will be in the entourage, Man o War will be met at the train by a band and reception committee and given a public banquet immediately after his arrival. From the buifqueting place he will be conveyed in a bedecked automobile through the streets of Lexington to his future home. Flowers will be strewn along his way and the city will be treated to a holiday pageant in his honor if j present plans are carried out.
