KENTUCKY BREEDERS BUY FILLY LEXINGTON, Ky., December 17. Hal Price Headley and Frederick Johnson today bought privately in England the three-year-old bay filly, Chacolet, by St. Amant sire of Tryst, dam of Tryster Martial Note, by Carbine, dam Chalan-dry granddam of Wrack. Chacolet is to be bred to Ilrown Prince next spring. Henry G. Herring, manager of Castledon Stud, today fold to Walter S. House, acting lor .Mrs. . M. Lawson. if New York, the yearling bay colt, by Swoop Belle of Arcadia dam of Tawasentha and half sister to Jlantland. Planter, Alfred V. ami John W. Kloin, by Plaudit. This colt has never boon trained and is one of the best looking thoroughbred;-, of his ago. Herring has a weanling half brother to him by Theo. Cook. A. McL Earloeker, racing secretary of the Westchester Racing Association, arrived here tonight iH the interest of the Futurity, which is to clo-ie January 3.
