TWO WINNERS FOR J. McCOY Rides Perhaps and Sol Gilsey to Victory Sister Susie Scores Narrowly. HAVANA, Cuba, December 18. J. O. Keenes good apprentice J. McCoy, who came to Cuba with the division of the stable handled by E. Brewster, rode two winners at Oriental Park this afternoon when he landed Perhaps and Sol Gilsey home in front of their opponents. Perhaps made all the pace and won in a driving finish from Flewhigh, While Sol Gilsey came from behind, closing with a rush ir. the stretcli and winning going away. The closest finish of the afternoon came with tiie running of the fiftii race, when Sister Susie just managed to last long enough to beat Black Prince by a nose. The Padgett stable, which won with Sister Susie, also furnished the "winner in the seventh in Hewitt. Merita Acosta, a member iof the Louisville baseball club of the American Association and son of Buldoiucro Acosta, who -was recently elected Mayor of Marianno, is now a full-fledged owner and made his turf debut this afternoon in the fifth.race with the three-year-old Ina Wood carrying Ids colors. The filly was presented to Acosta by W. B. Knebel-kamp of tin- Louisville club and is being handled by W. B. Finncgan, -trainer for the Knebelkamp stable. Legotal, which started in the third race under the colors of Mose Goldblatt, was sold at private terras to J. J. Keyes, a local merchant. W. Crump, who was scheduled to ride Wishing in the first race, was unable to make the weight, 105. Garner acted as his substitute. Hocnir, the winner of the fourth race, ran tiie three-quarter mile in 1:14, the fastest time for the .distance hung up at this meeting.
