JOCKEY JOSIAH PROMISING APPRENTICE Clarence Buxton, who has one of the largest stables at Jefferson Park, is confident that he has a coming star rider in jockey E. Josiah, a llttel fellow, who recently graduated from the- maiden, ranks on Madam Byng. This lad has had plenty of experience as an exercise boy, he having been with John Sanfords stable for three years, but he had ridden in only a few races when lie piloted a winner. Buxton is giving Josiah every opportunity to make good by riding- him frequently on his horses and he gets him quite a few outside mounts us well. i
