JJ V t i !l t i - 1 1 1 1 i 1 1 i : YELLOW HAND AND HIS COMRADES RACING OF A FLEET ENGLISH GELDING THAT GAVE HIM THE LEADERSHIP IN MONEY WON BY THE HORSES COMPOSING THE R. T. WILSON STABLE OF 1920 The great majority of the horses raced annually by the respected turfman. It. T. Wilson, are the sons and daughters of his own successful sire Olambala. Such was the case this year, and Dry Moon, Thunderstorm and several others did well for him in racing. Hut his best money winner was the three-year-old English gelding Yellow Hand. This was decidedly a good race horse which should play a prominent part in the disposition of the medium-class handicaps of 1921 if all goes well with him in Ins winter retirement. Iossibly his best race was when, with 111 pounds on his back to 12:! on the crack colt On Watch, he ran the latter to a head in the limlico Autumn Handicap at a mile and a quarter in the new track record time of 2:04. having such other excellent three-year-olds behind him as Dr. lark, 120 pounds; Iaul .lones, 117; Donnacona. 107. and Blazes, 122. This was a capital race and indicative of Yellow Hands best form when at his best in condition. Dry Moon and Thunderstorm each won considerably in excess of 10.000, and Wyoming ran some good races for his stable. At one time it was thought the two-year-olds Kirklevington and Dimmesdale would rank among the best of the year, but this hope t proved extravagant. However, both showed speed enough to warrant the hope that they may race to , good effect as three-year-olds.
