The latter was away slowly and had to race wide, but finished fast after closing a big gap. HOREB ran forwardly. but tired after racing into the lead in the stretcli. OLD ROSE was going fast at the end. SPARTAN BOY made the pace and tired in the last sixteenth. PANSY BLOSSOM had no mishaps. ROYDEN was always far back. SILVER SPRINGS, showing the most speed and sudden improvement in such going, raced into a long lead at once and, under an energetic ride, held SEA COURT safe. The latter was much the best and with a good ride would have won, although away badly. LOUISE WYNNE ran a good race, but Mas tiring at the end. DANNELL had no mishaps. TOM ROACH tired near the end. CRIMSON RAMBLER closed an immense gap. PEPPERY POLLY can do much better.
