At the fall incetinrs of the four one-mile race tracks of Maryland S.00O,OH passed through the pari-mutuol machines during the sixty-nine days of racing, according to figures disclosed by the State Racing Commission today. The commission did not begin operations until after the spring season was over, but conservative estimates fV.r the entire racing year 110 days place the amount at 0.000.000. D. Bryan, his assistant, from 5,000 to ,000. An item of SS.300 for Howie directors fee was cut to SI, 200. Besides a tax of 1,000 a day for every racing day the state collected 15 per cent of the net earnings of the race tracks.
