Caj. lain Mac. added to his laurels this afternoon by an impressive victory over St. Isidore wiiiee carrying 124 pounds and conceding all the other starters much weight. St. Isidore receiving concession of twelve pounds. The pair met in the Edward W. Magina Memorial Handicap at a mil. land seventy yards for a 31.333 parse and the con-l census of tin- numerous racing enthusiasts present [was that it was a contest strictly between the pair and such it proved, for the stretch drive found them drawing away from the others and rngilj lilt in a stubborn duel, with Captain Mac triumphant in the dosing strides, general llaig. after a hard effort, landed in third place, many lengths off from the leading pair. Failure of the handicap to fill caused a different purse division for tomorrow, five of the purses being of 31.183 each, with SSK 10 the winner. S2 hi to second and S100 to third.
