PIMLICO TRACK PROFITS PROBLEM BALTIMORE Md April 27 A conference which was held between Mr J A Latane the newly appointed member of the Maryland Racing Commission and Attorney General Alexander Arm ¬ strong will probably result in a settlement of the question raised by Pimlico relative to the distribu ¬ tion of excess profits of the track trackMr Mr Armstrongs opinion as to the legality of the resolution offered by the Pimlico authorities as a substitute for the agreement signed by Havre de Grace and Bowie on which opinion the action to be taken by the commission hinges is expected to be given early this week Tim necessity for early settlement Is recognized by the commission as the Pimlico opening is set for May 3 3Mr Mr Latane is taking an active interest in tho affairs of the commission but has not up to the present expressed any opinion on the question of exercising licensing powers uud other matters which uwuit solution
