ARAPAHOE, hard ridden all the way, moved up gamely through the stretch and swerved to the inner rail, but outstayed FLYPAPER. CREST HILL was well ridden, fenced in easy fasiiion for the entire race and, moving up rapidly in the last quarter, took the lead at his riders leisure and won under restraint. ELYSIAN raced under stout restraint for the first turn of the field and took the lead while going to the twelfth fence, but was taken back and saved until in the last eighth, wiiere he came again, hut tired finally. IRELAND easily outstayed FRANK B. at the end. The latter was eased up in the last strides. SYRDARYA showed speed, but was beaten when he lost his rider at the fifteenth jump. MUSTARD SEED set a fast pact: and finished gamely, but was tiring at the end. WILLIAM A. saved the most ground on the turns and, finishing resolutely under his weight, outstayed AlOLINIST at the end. The latter ran a creditable race. BROOMSTER ran well but tired in the last eighth. DR. T. S. DABNEY was eased up. IRISH BRIGADIER refused to join the others at the start. BLAZES raced in close attendance on the leader in the early running, but tired in the last quarter. WALNUT HALL raced in close pursuit of HOLD UP in the early running and made a game finish. AMERICAN BOY ran well but tired getting to the leaders on the last turn. HOLD UP set the pace for a mile and quit. AVAR PLUME was ridden out at the finish. The others were pulling up in the last eighth. DEVILDOG bled. Scratched ,55302 Biff Bang, 113. The latter finished gamely and would have been second in a few more strides. FIRM FRIEND finished fast. TORCHY tired after entering the stretch. PICTRUS is a good looker and was not persevered with.
