HIS CHOICE began fust and, under good riding, set a fast pace and held on resolutely, but tiring. A. N. AKIN had no mishaps, raced prominently from the start and was best of the others. INQUISITION moved up with a rush after going the first quarter and, coming fast through the stretch, raced into a long lead in the last eighth. CROSSLESS began slowly and had to race wide, but came with a rush in the last eighth. ORMA DALE closed a gap and tired in the stretcli drive. DIXIE ODAY was forced back soon after the start, but closed a big gap in the stretch. CHEWINK quit badly after leading for a half mile. NELLE YORKE, close up from the start, moved up steadily after going a half mile and, wearing BROMO down on the stretcli turn, took a small lead and held him safe to the end. BROMO showed fine speed and set a good pace, but tired and gave way slightly in the stretch. IOILU ran well and was prominent nearly all the way. KINGFISHER closed a gap. ADELIA W. tired. APHIE DEAR was rushed into a pocket just before reaching the stretch turn and ran a good race. NANCY LEE tired badly in the stretch. FALLACY was done after going three-quarters.
