Won easily: second and third driving. SWEEP CLEAN steadily improved his position while racing next to the inner rail and rushed into u deciding lead in the last eighth. JYNTEE was a forward contender all th way and outstayed ACTRESS in the tinal drive. ACTRESS began fast and rushed into a long early lead, hut tired in the last sixteenth. ARROWHEAD ran forwardly from the start, but was in behind the leaders through the stretch and closed up gamely when clear. SAMMY KELLY was sore when going to the post. PENELOPE had no chance after the start. ST. ISIDORE ran fairly well. SWEEPMENT, displaying hi usual brilliant speed and fencing faultlessly, raced into a Jong lead in the final half mile and was under slight restraint through the last eighth. MINATA finished fast and outstayed JOYFlL through the stretch. JOYFUL was under stout restraint in the early running, but tired after going two miles. IRELAND made the early running and ipiit. ROYAL ARCH was never a contender. EA BLOCKER lost his rider at the fourteenth fence. Scratched 553SlEIysian, 135; 5450SP.nllseye, 145. Overweights Royal Arch, 3 pound. DUK DE MORNY rushed into the lead and showed the most early speed, but could not withstand the winners challenge IOAN MARIE was a far back third. SQUAW MAN was practically left at the post. Won driving; second and third the same. EDWINA was taken back and saved to the stretch and, slipping through on the inside finished gamely and wore LAST STRAW down to win drawing clear. LAST STRAW displayed the most speed and set a fast pace, but was much used in racing ELECTED II. into defeat and tired finally L UN ETTA moved up steadily on the outside of the leaders and was gaining slowly at the finish TEN BUTTONS, away slowly and taken extremely wide all the way, ran a creditable race. Won easily; second and third driving. QUECREEK took a quick lead and, making the pace fast in the early running, drew awav after entering the stretch and won in a canter. FAIR GAIN followed the leader closely under restraint and tired when called on for :: final effort, but outstayed TOP SERGEANT. The latter made a game effort after entering the stretch. Won driving; second and third the same. COLLING A, away forwardly and hard ridden, took the lead when entering the stretch hut crowded BELLATRIX, for which she was disqualified. VALENTINE DOR, close up all the way tired in the stretch, but linished gamely. BEES WAX was never a prominent contender. RADIOLA was high in flesh. The rider on BELLATRIX appeared to lose his balance when he attempted to pull liis whip and fell out of the saddle. Scratched 552S9 Alice C, 104; 552S9 Pretty Lady, 106. Overweights Collinga, 4 pounds.
