MOSS FOX II. followed the leaders close up until well into the homestretch, then responded witii a rush when called on and was going awav at the end. MARBLE began slowly and raced wide on the turns, but finished fast and is a good looker. DOROTHY BUCKNER raced into the lead and set a fast pace, but tired. MOMENTUM showed the most early speed, but quit badly in the lust sixteenth. CLANSMAN ran fairly well. The latter made a game challenge after entering the homestretch, but tired in the deciding drive. AZRAEL was last of all until in the last eighth, where lie closed up witli a belated rush. ALGONQUIN quit after going a half mile and was pulled up at the end.
