CELTIC EASS was a prominent contender for the entire race, and easilv disposed of P. T. BARXUM in the stretch drive. The latter showed early speed and faced into a brief lead, hut was tiring at the end. GLOOMY GCS and MACHINE GUNNER finished fast and close up. Scratched 54372 Miss Rankin.
