THIRTY LEADING WINNING OWNERS INTERESTING THREE-CORNERED DUEL FOR THE LEADERSHIP NOW IN PROGRESS BETWEEN RANCOCAS STABLE, H P. WHITNEY AND EDWARD R. BRADLEY, WITH THE OTHERS SEEMINGLY DISTANCED Bight now in midseason turf activity there is a remarkable interesting struggle going on for supremacy in stable earnings between Kancocas Stable, II. I. Whitney and E. K. ltradley. The two eastern stables have the one western stable slightly surpassed at present, but the ltradley horses are racing effectively and their owner has, at least, a good chance to capture the honors of the year. At any rate, it does not now seem that any stable other than the battling three has any better than a remote chance. However, a number of the other stables are thriving excellently and have little to complain of. .1. K. L. Boss is faring comfortably in his Canadian campaign and probably is satisfied with fourth place in the list of thirty leading money-winning owners. Montfort Jones did not fare any too well in last years racing, but this year he has two superb two-year-old fillies doing great things for him and is fifth, with a good prospect for mounting higher. Mose Goldblatt conies next, mainly through his wisely conceived and lucrative Havana campaign. Juincy Stable has already nearly won as much as it did in 1 121. and C. A. Stoneham has nearly doubled his account of last year. .1. S. Cosden had no place in the racing of lt20. hut he has done so well this year that he is now ninth in the owners list. It. T. Wilson and E. It. .McLean, who were both high up in last years owners list, are laggards this year. Jtut there is money in plenty yet to be won and Dame Fortune may presently relent in their favor. To date the records of the thirty owners who lead their fellows are here presented, as also their records in the campaign of last year: Won in Leading Winner Won in Leading Winner 1!20.
