MY DEAR was outpaced in the early running, but slipped through next to the rail on the stretch turn and, finishing fast, easily rushed into second place. BREEZE ran a good race and got up in the last few strides to head BEST PAL. The latter raced close up to the stretch turn and tired badly under his big impost. The latter raced up to nearly even terms with the winner and when he appeared to he bumped by the latter, came again and was gaining at the end.
