PLANS FOR AUTUMN FAIR MEETINGS CLEVELAND, Ohio, August 12. Edward A. Pohl-man, general manager of the Tri-State Racing and Fairs Association, has completed arrangements for the fall meetings at Erie, Conneaut Lake Park, Wheeling and Clarksburg, where an aggregate of four weeks racing will be inaugurated at Erie, Pa., beginning August 22 and terminating at Clarksburg September 17. The program books for the first three meetings were distributed among the horsemen Saturday and no purse will be worth less than .hB100 in added money, with an occasional handicap carrying a monetary consideration of S500. Following the termination of the four Aveeks racing, which will be jn connection with state and county fairs, there will be two more meetings of ten or more days duration, the dates of which will be announced some time in September. Following the Erie meeting the scene will shift to Conneaut Lake Park for six days, then to Wheeling, where the annual great West Virginia State Fair will be featured by the running of the West Virginia Purse, and will wind up at Clarksburg, W. V., September 12 to 17. :
