FORT ERIES PROSPEROUS MEETING SECOAD AND FINAL SEVEN DAYS OF RACING FOR TEE PRESENT YEAR PROVES PARTICULARLY ATTRACTIVE AND UNUSUALLY SUCCESSFUL The second and final meeting of the year at Fort Erie under the auspices of the Xiagara Kaciug Association came to an end Monday. During the usual seven days of racing forty-nine races were run and 51,505 was distributed in stakes and purses. Great crowds were in daily attendance, the speculation was of large volume and the racing clean and wholesome. Prosperous and successful in every respect, were both Fort Erie meetings, the second even more so than the first. The climax came last Saturday when the greatest crowd in the history of the Xiagara Kaciug Association journeyed to the Fort Erie track .ami witnessed a splendid afternoons racing. J. 1C. L. Koss was the most successful of the owners participating in the meeting, his horses winning three races ami ,yrl. The Thorncliffe Stable witli ,235, the Seagram Stable with ,770 and W. C.
