A wager-on the Whitney entry in the race won by Whiskaway, with Zealot to go, would have been a draw because Zealot had been sold before the race and ran in his new owners name. James McK. and others, Chicago, 111. Mutuel tickets were sold at Washington Park in the first year of racing there and for years afterward, but not by the club, the privilege being usually leased to Ira Bride.
