Won driving; second and third the same. WM. OLDT, suddenly improved and close up in the early running, came fast and resolutely when straightened away in the stretcli and swerved to the inner rail at the end, but won drawing clear. DARK AGES, the closest contender from the start, saved ground on the turns, but was in close quarters through the final sixteenth. FIFTY FIFTY ran well and finished with a rush. ALVA was taken up at the start and raced on the outside all the way. DELIIIMAR tired. SUAVE PRINCE set a good pace to the last eighth and was eased up when he tired. CHIEF SPONSOR tired near the end after setting a good pace to the stretch. SIR CLARENCE was a forward contender all the way, but tired under his weight. The others were always outrun. BULLET PROOF began in a tangle, but gradually improved his position and made a fast finish. HEREAFTER raced in closest pursuit to the stretch and tired. BASTILLE gained gradually and finished gamely. CHEER LEADER closed a gap. LAST ONE could not extend himself in the going. BREEZE hioved up rapidly on the outside while rounding the stretch turn and finished fast and gamely. KINO THRUSH lost an immense amount of ground on the turns and could never get to the front.
