DISAPPOINTING SALES AT DEAUVILLE The result of the first days yearling sales at Deauville. Franco, on August 12 were quite disappointing, only nine of a total of firty-thrce being sold. The nine yearlings sold brought a total of 4,520. Aldebaran, by Sardanapalc Diavolozza. from the stable of Karon Maurice de Kothschild, brought the top price of .0,000, M. Leon Manta-cheff being the purchaser.
