HUMPHREY had to be hard ridden in the lirst quarter, but raced into the lead iu tin; stretch when called 0:1 and was easing up at the end. BRITISH MAID ran a good race throughout, but found the distance too long. BLOND BUDDY ran well and finished gamely. HAROLD K. set the pace to the last turn, but tired right at the end. GUA"NOR .raced close up from the start, but tired in the last .sixteenth after taking the lead. JOHN S. REARDON showed much speed and set a fast pace for the going, but quit after leading for a half mile. UNCLE AELO was gaining at the end. RISING ROCK began slowly. MONSOON ran fairly well. ACE HIGH showed the most early speed, but tired and began swerving out in the stretch. JUDGE PRYOR had no mishaps. MARVIN MAY ran as if best, was away slowly and, closing a great gap. was in a contending position on the stretch turn, where he was forced wide and lost iiis chance. MARY JANE BAKER was close up from the start and raced into a good lead on the last turn, but began tiring in the last eighth. MAB raced well, but had to be hard urged at the end to save third place. GRACE DAUGHERTY ran well and finished gamely. YELLOAV BLOSSOM ran poorly. A A" A R. lir-d. LA DERNIERE set a good pace to the far turn and quit.
