THIRTY LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS j Just when it seemed certain that jockey Murine li would bo dethroned from the leadership of our American riders, a position he has held since last winter, the young lad that hails from the Italian quarter of New York not only staved off the threatened invasion by riding five winners at Blue Bonnets last week, but also gained the distinction of being the first jockey to reach the century mark in winning mounts this ye:ir. He has 101 winners to. his credit. Saude, by riding six winners, brought his total up to 90 and, but for the unexpected awakening of Marinclli, would now be at the head of the list. The honors of riding the most winners last week fall to H. J. Burke and C. Lang, each with seven victories to his credit. A. Gantner and F. Coltiletti each rode six. while I.. Penman, L. Fator and A.
