MONTFORT JONES K. SPENCE Latter to Sell All His Horses and Take Complete Charge of Jones Establishment. As a result of a recent conference between Mont-fort Jones and Kay Spence, an agreement was reached whereby the latter will shortly dispose of all his horses in training and devote all of his time to the care of the entire Jones establishment, including the horses now "under the care of Cal Milam, which will be transferred to Spence at the close of the Churchill. Downs meeting. The sale will take place in the last week of the Latonla meeting and, in addition to his own horses, Spence will sell those he is training for Col. W. A. Applegate. Spence now has nine horses in training for Mr. Jones and these he will retain, augmented by the eleven head now in charge of Mr. Milam. The consolidation of the stables two divisions will give him twenty horses and, when combined with the thirty yearlings now at Douglas Park belonging to Mr. Jones, will give him fifty horses and make the establishment the largest to start next springs campaign. The Spence horses to go under the hammer include Legal, War Spirit, The Virginian, Miss Fontaine, Mile. Dazie, Marse John, Granite Ware. Stonewall, Lady Astor, Field Lark, Hodge, High Gear and Ballet Dancer II., The Applegate list comprises Ginger, Ace High, Tulsa, McGees Pink, Abadane, Miss Crest wood and Sam Rch. Those that Spence will take over from Cal Milam are Miss Joy, Brookholt, Rockminister, Pegasus, Billy Star, Lieutenant Colonel, Fair Phantom, Uncle Sonny, Montjoy, Rouleau and Cap Rock. It is Spenccs intention to winter the entire Jones estabUtJimeat at Douglas Fails.
