Won handily; second and third -driving. JOHN MORRILL raced in close pursuit from the start and, coming fast through the stretch, passed GONDOLIER and was going away at the end. GONDOLIER showed a good turn of Speed and, taking the lead, saved ground on the turns, but tired when challenged. TREVELYAN began, slowly -and worked his way up gamely, but came wide on the stretch turn and lost much ground. CHASTE STAR set the early pace fast, but quit. COLANDO tired. ALEX II. closed up ground.
