SIR ERNEST CASSEL PASSES AWAY LONDON, England, September 23. Sir Ernest Cassel, a widely known turf patron and breeder of thoroughbreds, was found dead in the library of his home in Park Lane on Wednesday night. He was 70 years of age. All his yearlings are listed for sale next week. Sir Ernest Cassel was the late King Edwards financial adviser and personal friend. F. Boyd Rochfort managed his extensive stable and stud and now goes to Marshall Field in a similar capacity. The latter also acquires the Cassel stables at Newmarket.
