KENILWORTH PARK TODAY Final 1921 Meeting of Canadian Racing Associations to Begin This Afternoon. WINDSOR, Ont., October 4. The opening of the final meeting at Kcnilworth Park, which is scheduled to begin tomorrow, marks the beginning of the end of the racing season cn the Canadian Racing Associations tracks for 1921. At the conclusion of the seven days of racing here will come a scattering of the horsemen. A special will leave Detroit direct for Oriental Park, Cuba, and another for New Orleans. The Canadian owners will retire into winter quarters. Secretary Norvell has provided a good program for the opening day. The purses will vange from ,200 upward and during the seven days raeing handicaps for a purse of ,000 will be featured daily. The officials are practically the same as provided at the previous meeting, with the exception of M. N. Macfarlan, who will act as one of the stewards. The club did a wise thing in setting the opening of the meeting back until tomorrow, as the extra day enabled horsemen who raced at AVoodbine plenty of time to get here. With the tail i-nd of the season horses are none too plentiful, many of the stables having gone to Maryland and Kentucky. There are enough horses here, however, to warrant the races being well filled, the only scarcity being among the Canadian-breds. Tiie Brookdale Stable sent a majority of their horses from Toronto to their farm at Barrie, where they were retired for the year. The G. M. Hendrie stable shipped direct to Kentucky from the Woodbine. It is quite likely that the division of the Commander Boss stable that is raeing at Kenilworth will be campaigned at one of the winter tracks. Fred Schelke, who is looking after the Thorn-cllffc Stable horses, is another Canadian who may race at one of the winter tracks. Francis Nelson, who will be the steward representing the Canadian Racing Associations, was an arrival from Toronto. Hdward Cole, who will fill the position of presiding judge, got in from New York. Starter Harrforrissey.turned down-offers to start at. a coupl e-ofthe"sma Her meetings in the States and plans to go from here direct to hi", farm near Lexington, Ky. The stallion Cudgel and the brood mares that Commander Ross is sending to Kentucky will ar--Ive at Morrisseys Kempland Stud some day next week. The management announced that the races in condition books would all be set back one day, with .ho exception of Saturday, which will run as originally carded. Jockey Hinphy was an arrival from Montreal. Eddie Flynn is handling bock for jockey J. Hunta-mer during the present meeting. E. G. Yivell arrived from Baltimore to assume his duties in the heads of the uiutuel departments. A carload of horses arrived from Montreal this morning, all shipping in first-class condition.
