R. F. LEIGHT0N GOING TO AUSTRALIA VANCOUVER, B. 0., October 4. Robert F. Leighton, who was in a great measure respouBiblfl for the revival of racing in British Columbia and who presided as judge at the various meetings, will sail on November 12 for Australia. Judge Leighton expects to be gone for three months and will visit all the principal race courses iu Australia and New Zealand, lie will inspect the "totalizator," with a view of introducing the Australian method here if it is liiacticr.l to do so.
