Won easily; second and third driving. RAPID DAY moved up with a great rush after going the first quarter and, passing REDMON in tlie stretch, won going away. REDMON showed the most early speed and made the pace fast, but tired when challenged. ST. MICHAEL raced forwardly and fiuished fast. COTTON BLOSSOM ran a good race and finished well. COZETTE tired. GROUND-SWELL quit. . COLONEL safe at tlie ind. LIEUT. COLONEL, also well- ridden, moved up menacingly in the stretch and was running gamely at the end. SETTLE raced forwardly all the way, but was tiring at the end. FINCASTLE ran a good race and finished fast. BItOTHER JOHN showed speed. THE FRANCISCAN tired in the stretch. HARVEST KINO showed speed, but tired In the last quarter. EXHORTER was always prominent. ROYAL DUCK raced sluggishly. PASTOUBEAU was away badly, but ran greatly below his true form. CHERRY TREE ran, well nnd finished gdtnely but tired in the stretch. JUNE GRASS ran well and finished close up. nOROLOGE was knocked out of any good chance after going a half mile.
