REDMON showed the most early speed and made the pace fast, but tired when challenged. ST. MICHAEL raced forwardly and fiuished fast. COTTON BLOSSOM ran a good race and finished well. COZETTE tired. COLONEL safe at tlie ind. LIEUT. COLONEL, also well- ridden, moved up menacingly in the stretch and was running gamely at the end. SETTLE raced forwardly all the way, but was tiring at the end. FINCASTLE ran a good race and finished fast. BItOTHER JOHN showed speed. THE FRANCISCAN tired in the stretch.
