« GREENTREE STABLES VALUABLE COLT Among the Greentree Stable two-year-olds is the 2,1M youngster from the Xalapa Farm band, bought by trainer S. P. Harlan at the Saratoga sales. This is the strapping brown or black colt by Star Shoot — Elmaha, by Ogden. The colt promises to be as good as his price, which was next to the highest one of the sales. The high figure was for the Hourless — Mary Davis, by Watercress, bay colt, which went to Jack Goldsborough for 4,500 on behalf of Charles A. Stoneham. a ♦
