, i i . a ♦ AUGUST BELMONT INJURED IN FALL NEW YORK, N. Y., January 4. — August Belmont. chairman of the Jockey Club, returned to New York today from his estate at Garnet, S. C, to recuperate from injuries suffered when his horse fell with him during a hunting jaunt. Mr. Belmonts injuries are not serious, it is said, but are of a painful nature and will confine him to his home for several days. His horse stumbled and fell going over a ditch.
