• • CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF Milton Henry, the American rider, is now a full Hedged trainer in France and has in his stable part f apt. Jefferson D. Conns horses. Henry is quartered near Gene Leigh at Maisons-Lif fitte. Arthur F-cott. who is to ride Duettiste in the Grand National, is in good form this winter and winning more than his share of races. Escott isnt a frequent rider, but his average of wins is high. Attention of horsemen is called to the fact that declarations for the following Saratoga stake events are due March 1 : 1622 — The Travers and Alabama, ST.".; Hopeful. 6, and Consolation. 0; 1923— The Travers and Alabama. S25. St. Paul, the 1020 winner of the Canadian Kings Plate, is taking life easy as a riding and exhibition horse and recently won a race ami the Swigert Cap at Pinehurst. N. C, where Mrs. M. Brenner. the wife of his owner, is wintering.
