The veteran Franklin abja gave the hackers of Yorkist a sea re when he threatened momentarily at the head of the stretch. However, he tired sneldenly just as he appeared dangerous. All in all. it was a bully contest and the spirited Mr finish delighted r. the big n a crowd. The last three races were featured by the riding of jockey Wilson, this youthful saddle- luminary being astride the winners. In the sixth he scored : with Be»es Wing, in the seventh with the old campaigner Hamilton A. anil ended up the afternoons work by ge-tting home first with Bubber II. in the last rae-e.
